Summer 2013
The end or the beginning ?
2012 ended with many shows at the friendly Bistro Bord’eau (on fridays or saturdays, not wednesdays anymore), at the warmy Clos Baillie as well as in Trois-Rivières and the peaceful and inspiring Maison-Mathieu-Froment-Savoie. Composition work did not take any break. Many new tracks will remain fragile until they leave the woods to see if the feeling is good enough.
Many moving words were heard through the year, more than ever. They were either related to past moments or to the music played, sometimes both. This exquisite nourishment is an invitation for the composer to remain as honest as possible.
Thanks to the believers, coming back in numbers, listening ou feeling the music. Thanks to Grégory Schmitt in France for keeping an eye over the site, providing a large section of multimedia content. Thanks to those who like it and dare say it.
Regarding 2013, we plan to offer more video, and maybe make a new recording come true. We will follow the current, not the one of commerce, but the one of nature.
We’d like to wish you a nice holiday season and a surprising year 2013.
Summer and fall 2012
Summer was hot and dry. Pierre was able to play the piano every wednesday (and didn’t miss a single date!) from mid-June to mid-September in a relaxed atmosphere at the terrace of Bistro Bord’eau in Gatineau. He also continued his weekly sessions at the Mathieu-Froment-Savoie medical house where music respectfully blends with emotions. And if Mother Nature didn’t grace us with much water this summer, inspiration and creativity flowed naturally and may result in a new musical project sooner than expected. Autumn started with some promotion on the radio and another session outside out of the Gatineau-Ottawa area. Even if Pierre doesn’t play on wednesdays at the Bistro Bord’eau anymore, he may pay them a visit once in a while, even on week-ends. Please check the Events section of the bistro or call them. Enjoy the season, and enjoy the music.
At the Clos Baillie
The party held at the Clos Baillie for the “Bal de neige” event was met with success. Piano notes blithely moved in a playful atmosphere, vivified by the dashing white, red and ice wines of the owner Raymond and his accomplices Danielle, the cheese connoisseur and Roger, the emeritus wine waiter, who brought their rich knowledge to the audience. All hail to the chiefs!
